Braemar is a 15/20 minute walk from Fort William town centre, where there are lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and bars to visit. We have 6 bedrooms in total with most of our guests coming to enjoy the views of the Jacobite Steam Train (which warms up in our garden each day), finishing the West Highland Way, climbing Ben Nevis or just simply looking for a nice base to enjoy and explore Fort William and the surrounding areas. There is garden seating with view of Ben Nevis and surrounding hills. Braemar is especially popular with Steam Train enthusiast as West Highland line passes back of property. Affordable and friendly family run guesthouse near the centre of Fort William the "Outdoor Capital of the UK". The guesthouse occupies a prominent position set back from the main road within easy walking distance of all local amenities including railway station, bus services, High Street shops, banks etc. The guesthouse comprises two buildings with 12 guest rooms in the main house and 4 guest rooms in our annex which is at the rear of the plot. Rooms 1-15 are in the main house, and 21-24 are in the annex. If you are booking for a large family group, please contact us if you are unclear about the locations of the rooms you intend to book. With excellent views over Loch Linnhe from the guest lounge, covered patio area, breakfast room and some of the rooms the guesthouse is a relaxed and comfortable base to allow you to explore the local area.
