Lovely warm welcome from hosts Pen and Micha. Only needed one bit of information throughout our weeks stay and it was dealt with very promptly, thank you. Very comfy, clean apartment well situated for the town centre but still very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Highly Recommended.

Lochview House is on a steep incline which neither of us would manage on foot. Having said that no problems at all with available parking spaces outside Lochview and also parking charges at the main car park by the loch very reasonable, £3 for 4 hours and I used Ring Go so you can top up your parking time from where ever you happen to be. Highly recommended, a loch cruise, drive through Glencoe (breathtaking) and down through Glen Etive. We did a road trip from Fort William up to Malaig, took the ferry across to Skye and then the road bridge back to the mainland and on to Plockton which was fabulous so much to see along the way. We did so much more in our weeks stay, we love the Scottish Highlands and look forward to returning for another adventure!

There’s no shortage of things to do in the West highlands, highlights for us are the Jacobite steam train from Fort William to Mallaig, Glenfinnan, Neptunes staircase and more.

A lucky find, I’ve been coming up to FW fro 22 years now and this is the best place I’ve stayed. Nothing negative to mention

The location is a steep walk up from the town so the faint hearted may want to use a taxi. Good selection of places to eat and drink, for an unusual Scottish menu try the Grog and Gruel pub Restaurant, it’s a traditional ale house with a good selection of beers. The Nevis up by the station is also good. Everyone who’s fit enough should walk Ben Nevis, start at the visitors centre in Glen Nevis but don’t go it the top is cloud covered. For the less agile a walk along Glen Nevis is nice. Also make sure you either drive or take a train ride along the road to the isles to Mallaig. While you are there ther kids will enjoy the Harry Potter shop

Very welcoming and helpful. Lovely room. Only gave 4 for location as it's on steep hill walk. Can I suggest a wall map OS or other with all attractions numbered with a key.

There's plenty of info in the drawers.

Comfortable, spotless apartment with everything needed for a perfect stay. Good location for exploring the surrounding areas. Short 10 min walk into town centre for shops, eating out etc. Friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Good base for exploring Glen Coe and Ben Nevis. We also drove up to Inverness and Malaig, stopping along the way to both to explore. Both are worth a visit. The wildlife boat trip from Malaig was a definite highlight.

We had the Garden Apartment for a 7 day self catering break. It is a good size with amazing views of Loch Linnhe. It was immaculately clean and when we arrived, after a several hundred mile drive, were delighted to find fresh milk in the fridge and a welcome basket of tea, coffee, fresh fruit and posh biscuits waiting for us! A lovely touch. There is a comfy lounge and dining area which features a well equipped and spotless kitchen. The bedroom has good storage and a very comfortable bed. Karen and Vince are very welcoming and friendly and were keen to make sure we had a good stay. We can thoroughly recommend Lochview House to anyone visiting the Fort William area and hope to return next time we are in Scotland!

Great location for day trip to the Isle of Skye, 25 minutes to Glenfinnan Viaduct and a further 30 minutes to the harbour town of Mallaig.

Very warm and cozy apartment. Enjoyed the welcome basket with the fruits, biscuits and milk in the fridge to get us started.

Steall Falls is a short drive and walk away and Cow hill. If raining, Three Wise Monkeys is an option for some indoor climbing.

A really comfortable and cozy apartment in a beautiful location. The owners are really friendly and extremely helpful, just a shame that we didn’t get to meet in person due to the social distancing. Would definitely stay again and hopefully be able to experience more of this wonderful area.

It is a very steep walk from town, but this is made very clear on the booking info so we were well aware. Garrison West was our only restaurant meal, but I’d cheerfully go there again and would recommend a visit if you can.

Karen made us feel welcome from our arrival through to our departure, the pot of tea while we checked in was most welcome, there was a good welcome pack to get us started. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and the perfect location for some great walks

Very friendly but happy to leave me alone in the apartment without checking up on me. I would suggest giving all guests a key to the drying room.

Very good base for walking both in immediate vicinity of Fort William e.g. Ben Nevis, but also further afield e.g. sections of the West Highland Way or the Great Glen Way by use of public transport. Equally fairly remote parts of the Highlands can be reached such as Loch Ossian from Corrour station. I would also recommend travelling the line to Mallaig - very scenic.
