The location was great, few minutes walk from a supermarket and the B&B is beautiful, very authentic. The best of the stay was the owner who was very nice with us. The next morning he also bring us breakfast and it was delicious! I will definitly come back

I stayed at Inverlochy Villas for one night in October 2019. My room was beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious with an immaculate en-suite. The house itself is beautiful and located at Fort William with views of Ben Nevis. The B&B was perfectly located to explore Fort William, Glen Finnan and Glen Coe. Despite being on the main road through Fort William, the B&B is very quiet and peaceful with scenic views of the surrounding area. The host John was very friendly and check in and out was efficient with everything in the room that you would need. The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

We had a brilliant stay at Inverlochy Villa's. The hosts were brilliant giving us excellent information before, during and after our stay with them. They really couldn't have been any more helpful. The accommodation was excellent in a great location just outside Fort William but within close walking distance of all the local amenities and plenty of good bars and eateries.

If you are thinking of climbing Ben Nevis - this has got to be the place to stay for its location and the helpful advice offered by the hosts John & Adrian

Both John and Adrian were friendly and helpful. They had good knowledge of the area and Mallaig which came in very handy during our stay. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was also very tasty. Would definitely return and would like to try out their new outdoor Pods or Hobbit house.

There is definitely a buzz about Fort William and lots of visitors. Following John's advice we learnt it was safer to book for dinner in advance as everywhere to sit in tends to be fully booked with no spaces by 6pm.

Myself and 3 mates on a motorbike trip of the NC 500 stayed here on the last of our 3 nights in similiar accommodation and all of us agreed unanimously that it was our first choice. We arrived in heavy rain,somewhat wet to be greeted by our welcoming hosts John and Adrian who immediately offered tea or coffee and told us once we had got out of our wet motor bike clothes they would have everything dried for us overnight. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and warm and we were even given a free lift into nearby Fort William town centre. Excellent breakfast the next morning and as promised our kit was all dried and ready for our early departure. 5 star treatment all round,would definitely stay again.

Fort William toqn centre us really close by and offers a good variety of pub/restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was beautiful and super neat. The continental breakfast was served in the room. It was very tasty and plenty of choice. Adrian is a wonderful host. The villa is within walking distance of Fort William, but you can also take a taxi. Because of the short distance that is not expensive.

WHW way is super! We went from Milngavie to Fort William. Best is to book your accomodation in Fort William in advance, because when we arrived almost everything was fully booked. And we preferred once to stay in a room rather than in our tent. We were very lucky we found a room at Inverlochy Villas through www.fwbooking.com .

We've had a fantastic experience staying at the Villa. Superb location and the hosts was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast service and freshness was top notch. Would reccomend it to anyone planning to travel to Inverlochy or Fort William.

It is located only 30 min walking from the town of Fort William with an easy access to local foods and restaurants. If you have a car it is even easier. Near it , easy access to the inverlochy castle or the Jacobite Train. All in all, fantastic location.

We had such a wonderful stay! All three of us enjoyed ourselves very much. The breakfast was great and we especially appreciated the tea and biscuits you provided for our day out. Making a dinner reservation for us was wonderful, too. The meal we had there was very nice and the view of the mountain a welcome bonus.

The Ben Nevis distillery was very enjoyable. The guide did the best tour of a distillery I've been through - very knowledgeable. There was also a great view of the mountain top while we were there. We took a day trip to Culloden but I'd just encourage anyone to drive through the highlands - it is just so breathtaking.

Glenfinnan viaduct: Come early (really early!!) if you want to see the steam train cross the bridge. The parking is crazy if you com late and it is 15-20 minutes walk to the best photo spots. Inverlochy castle ruin and Caledonian Canal locks: There is an excellent walk from the Villas to these very nice spots. Follow Adrians instructions. Nice run/jog if you're inclined for that activity. The facilities at Nevis Range: Tree adventure was really nice, medium difficulties. The gondola up to the mountain station gave us a chance to see more of the Highland "from the top". Nice walks up there aswell. We would recommend that you take your own food with you as we cannot recommend the food at the restaurant up there. Book MTB in advance if you want to be sure to do that activity.

John and Adrian were such a blessing for so many reasons. They have lived in the area for multiple generations, which means that the information they shareis tried and true! They helped us get booked into an excellent restaurant, and they gave us tips on many, many day trips and destinations. Also--they gave us rides to and from several town locations, which created more time to relax and more time for destinations. Lively conversation with them was a highlight of interaction. Truly, we loved these hosts!!

A meal at the Moorings provides excellent views of Ben Nevis and of Neptune's Staircase. Good food. Glen Nevis is another excellent restaurant with great prices and yummy, thoughtfully prepared food, and the views of Ben Nevis are excellent. You can hop on the Jacobite train and run up to Mallaig, a fishing village, for the day. Also, it is very easy to get to the Glencoe visitors center.

The best thing about this place are the owners! They are extremely nice people who love to amuse their guests and make them feel at home. Those two guys are the very definition of perfect hosts. The house and the rooms are very cosy and you feel welcomed from the beginning. The hosts are very friendly and gave us recommendations what to see and do in the area around Fort William. We really enjoyed our stay at the Iverlochy Villas!

We can recommend visiting "Treasures of Earth" and shopping at Fort William ("The Highland Soap Company!"). We als highly recommend doing the Steall Falls walk in Glen Nevis. It was one of the most impressive walks, we did on our journey.

Everything was excellent! My room faced to a beautiful garden. The locstion is great, not in fort william but you can walk there watching the Inverlochy castle and the Jacobite train if you are lucky. Adrian was lovely! he drove me to the train station and explain everything to do, i felt like at home, really important when you travel by your own. I will come back for sure

In inverlochy you can visit the destillery and the castle. But you can drive to Fort william and be there in 5 minutes o get the bike route walking that takes you there in 20 minutes with beautiful sights.

Extremely accommodating to our needs. Few examples - Let us check in later than normal, had breakfast sorted for 0500 as they knew we had to leave early, made sure my party were all staying in the same wing in the villa so that we were together, offered us refreshments when we arrived, made sure we weren't hungry.....really cannot fault anything as I felt we were treated like royalty. Rooms were also lovely, comfy beds and love the fact we had tea and coffee facilities in the room too.

John and Adrian ensured we were comfortable from the minute we checked into our room. We had a triple room which had an ensuite and included everything we needed. The room was clean and beds very comfortable and cosy. In the morning Breakfast was delivered to our room which included croissants, brioche, fruit, yogurts, jam, healthy bars, fresh coffee in a cafetiere and pot of tea.

We were in Fort William to do the Jacobite train journey and then drove to Loch Ness the following day. My opinion if I was to do the train journey again on the Jacobite I would definitely pay the extra for First Class especially if you are a Harry Potter fan as we were in standard and the high tea was disappointing. It came in boxes and not what I imagined it to be. We will definitely return to Fort William to discover the place and stay longer.

The old Inverlochy Castle is definitely worth to see. The old ruins are just impressive.

The host at inverlochy villas John was a perfect gentlemen through out my stay always ensuring that all was ok he offered flasks of drinks for my days out and even offered to take me into town and pick up again washed some of my clothing after been on my bike all day I just couldn't ask for more from him perfect gentlemen offering a perfect service

Inverlochy villas is set in an ideal location if it's peace and quiet you like as it's set just out of town and in the most beautiful scenery around view of Ben Nevis out my bedroom window to wake up to every morning and a short walk away from the stunning neptunes staircase on the Caledonian canal system

Easily the best b&b I've ever stayed in. The most gracious of hosts, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast in the morning served to my bedside and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Fort William or climbing Ben Nevis.

Lots to do i.e. Climb Ben Nevis, take in the spectacular views, go to the Glenfinnan viaduct etc. There's no chance of being bored.

John picked me up at the bus and dropped me off the next day, and would have ferried me around even more if needed! The accommodation is top quality, you feel you are in your own home as it has so many homely features and the location is to die for, at the base of Ben Nevis, itself! I really couldn't suggest any improvements, John and Adrian have thought of everything.

We had a brilliant stay at Inverlochy Villas for our short break. John was so welcoming straight away introduing me to his two beautiful Cocker Spaniels, to moving us to a more suitable room. We had plenty of good reccomendations one of which was a fabulous tasting seafood restaurant called Crannog. He really did go above and beyond, the day we hiked up Ben Nevis he had already told us where to get the correct equipment, we had a lovely continental breakfast bought to our room for 7am as well as a flask and lots of sachets to keep us going for the day up the mountain. Once back all of our wet clothes were dried and delivered to our room the next morning. We couldnt have asked for more. Thanks again for your hospitatlity and for making us feel really welcome.

This is a great place to stay with excellent views of Ben Nevis. The breakfast provided was very good and the host a very kind man who made us feel at home, he even offered to give us a lift to the station for our early train back. We stayed in two different rooms and they were both clean and cosy. This place will be our choice whenever we come back to Fort William. I would totally recommend.

In Inverlochy villas I felt like at home. The room was clean and very nice, and I could see the Ben Nevis from my window. The structure is a bit far from the centre of Fort William - about 2,5 km - and the holder came to the station to pick me up and then took me back to the centre. I never met someone so nice before. I really advice you to go to Inverlochy villas.

I took a long walk along the river, ti was nice. I liked the ruins of the Inverlochy old castle too.

I felt very relaxed and welcomed into Inverlochy Villas - your home. My room was more than comfortable with everything I could possibly need. It was so peacefully quiet and the view out the window to your garden and those mountain peaks was engaging. Ben Nevis through the clouds - wonderful. Having a bountiful breakfast tray delivered to my room was such a treat. I thank-you for my stay and do not hesitate in recommending your establishment to other travellers.

Nice room with a view of the lower slopes of Ben Nevis, nice and quiet. Good facilities, friendly host. I only wish I had decided to stay more than one night on travels. Lovely Continental breakfast with loads of choice of fruit etc brought to my room! Who could ask for more. Very reasonable rates for what one gets.

Plenty of things to do, see and choice of eateries in Fort William. Inverlochy villas is quite a way out of town for those without a car, too far to walk for most, but there is a regular bus service.

Adrian and John were super friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home straight away. They offered us great advice about what to visit and recommendations for restaurants. The room was spacious with great views of the mountains. Very quiet house even though was fully occupied, slept really well.

This is the best place Ive stayed in a long time. On my visit to the UK I visited some 4* establishments that couldnt compare to this place. It was a very friendly, personal place where i felt like part of the family. A flask and biscuits were prepared as if were normal for our trek up Ben Nevis, they make you feel very special. My 2 daughters and I can't thank Adrian enough Room 4 was amazing and every detail was covered. The breakfast was perfect and were provided with a flask of tea to climb Ben Nevis (which proved to be essential) and our cloths were dried when we returned. Adrian made us most welcome and we will never forget our time there.

I would recommend anyone to do the first mile of Ben Nevis as even at that height you get some amazing views and you can still experience the path and beautiful streams. The Ben Nevis Inn is worth a visit too, but will be busy at peak times.

Adrian and John, Thank you for having us to stay in your beautiful home. You are wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome and happy. The only reason I didn't give you a five for the facilities was that I found it awkward having the shower in our bedroom. Giving us a thermos and shortbread to take to the Highland games was perfect, we would definitely love to come back. Meeting your two beautiful dogs Lola and Arron (sp) sent us on our way with a smile on our faces.

We were lucky enough to be there on the weekend of the Highland games which was an added bonus. One of the reasons we chose fort William was the Jacobite Train trip which was even better than what we were hoping for. We wished we had longer at your place to make the most of all the outdoor adventures like bike riding, walking and segways.
