From the start Kayleigh was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, so was a good start, although on the side of a road it didn't seem like it and didn't bother/affect any of our group sleeping or anything else, you couldn't ask for anything more with the facilities definitely above and beyond. Was a perfect location for us coming to climb Ben Nevis and nearby other amenities, shops, pubs, restaurants etc...
Tips:If you're stopping in the area for Ben Nevis this is minutes away, this could also be a great base for other activities in the surrounding areas aswell.

Victoria House is well positioned just outside Fort William with great facilities and free onsite parking. Our room was spacious and had a great shower, always a bonus after a long day. Breakfast was good and there was a pub nearby for dinner. Kayleigh was a wonderful, enthusiastic host.
Tips:It's not right in town so a car is a must. Well situated if you're doing the Jacobite Express, a supermarket is close by and a fuel stop. For photographers the Corpach shipwreck is a short drive or longish walk away. Recommended.

Fully enjoyed our short stay at Victoria House. A nice warm welcome from Kayleigh and lovely room with some very nice touches e.g. Pillow Spray and Sleeping mask for each guest etc. Enjoyed the evening hot tub looking directly up at Ben Nevis. Tips:Enjoy a nice clean hot tub and view of Ben Nevis. M&S Food Hall only couple of minutes away to stock up for your travels. Stop in at the Highland Soap Company - again few minutes drive away - beautiful store, great café and warm, friendly welcome. Watch the soaps being made or join a workshop. Great experience all round

From the moment I arrived (with our dog Benji, my husband arriving the next day) we were made to feel very welcome indeed. Nothing was too much trouble especially as our dog is a little nervous so trying to introduce him to the dining room was a worry. Kayleigh came straight to the rescue and offered us the use of a separate sitting room where we could have our breakfast which worked amazingly well. Our bedroom was ideal for us, it was beautifully decorated, very clean and the little extras provided were a lovely touch. We would highly and confidently recommend this lovely place to anyone, you will not be disappointed😊
Tips:It is not too far from the centre of Fort William so if you are driving it shouldn't be a problem. I parked our car at Morrisons where you can park for free for 3 hours and because I needed longer I was able to extend that up 8 hours which in total cost me no more than £2 (the signs in the car park explain how to pay and it is very easy to do)

We were made to feel very welcome in this comfortable, quiet house. The room was huge and breakfast was great. We appreciated having space to spread out after five days in an island bunkhouse.

Fabulous place to stay. Especially loved all the lovely extra touches like milk for the room, snacks with an honesty box, just in case you need that bit of sugar, and the different teas and coffees. Excellent guest house. You are made to feel so welcome by Kayleigh. The house smells amazing, so fresh and clean. Everything you need is there with spacious rooms and robes and slippers for the hot tub. We loved our stay.
Tips:The guest house was perfect. But if you plan on going out for supper book somewhere to avoid disappointment. We walked into fort William but wish we had taken a cab and booked a restaurant. A cab is about £10 so worth it if you have already walked all day and want to relax. We will be back, it was superb. ❤️

Room very comfortable & well appointed. Host very friendly and hospitable. Information folder in room needs updating as a couple of inaccuracies (eg wifi code, breakfast time, plus info about what to do at check-out would be useful). Food very good. Location clearly explained by hosts in advance regarding proximity to town centre, but disappointing in terms of outlook, though nothing can be done about that!
Tips:If wanting an evening meal definitely book in advance somewhere and get confirmation of the booking!

We had a lovely stay in the downstairs ‘Rob Roy’ room. The host Kayleigh is so helpful and very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. The room had luxury touches such as a sleep spray and eye mask amongst other things which made our stay really special. Very dog friendly and the hosts dog is gorgeous and super friendly too. We enjoyed the hot tub looking over to Ben Nevis. Gf options were catered for very well. Overall a fabulous stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I highly recommend Victoria House. Kayleigh was an amazing host and her home is perfect. Everything was very clean throughout the house and our room was beautiful with breathtaking views of Ben Nevis. The little touches like a mini fridge that had drinks, milk and crisps with an honestly box were great. I liked the fact Victoria House can also make children feel welcome with books and game boards. Breakfast choices were plenty and Kayleigh was more than willing to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. If you're looking to hike up Ben Nevis or even have a short stay I'd recommend staying at Victoria House.
Tips:Farm Foods is right behind Victoria House. Plenty of shops are a short driving distance including kfc and mcdonalds. 5 minutes drive into Fortwilliam which has lots of gift shops and restaurants. The starting point to hike up Ben Nevis is also a short drive away. If you are interested in booking the hot tub the online booking system is easy but book a time slot straight away as its popular with other guests.

Wonderful warm welcome and stay. We loved our rooms, really large, comfortable and spotless. All the facilities were excellent.We stayed on the bottom floor and it was very easy to take our dog out and she even got a welcome bag! It’s was my mums birthday and we had banners and balloon’s up very thoughtful and a lovely surprise! Kayleigh was an excellent host and would definitely return and stay again.

Tips:Location as the site shows is not as obvious as it could be. When you turn into the little road before the bridge, take a hard left just where the road bends right and the house it the largest one on the LHS of the cul de sac. The Sat NAV doesn’t show it. Well worth it though.

Kayleigh is a delightful and professional host. A lovely person with an engaging manner. The breakfast was generous, hot and hearty. Despite being close to a busy road the noise was not heard. Also, use the spa!! It's wonderful after a long day's drive!!
Tips:If you arrive late, say after 7:30pm, go to The Alexander for dinner. They close at 10:00pm. We had the steak pie with veg and potato. Again, a generous serving and the food was very tasty. We tried The Lochy pub, but the kitchen closed around 7:45pm.

The use of the whirlpool was a highlight. That we could choose a freshly prepared breakfast on arrival, what the other. The breakfast was super delicious. The tip for dinner was also great. We would never have thought of eating at the movie theater.

Delightful, well located B&B. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Bathrooms were well appointed and the shower was amazing. My only comment is the twin beds were a bit spongy and springy when you sat on them but they slept well. Loved the bath towels and large room. Easy to find and great base for all adventures.
Tips:We enjoyed the Caddy Shack for dinner as it was nearby. Interesting food and great wait staff. The food at the Lochy was also tasty.

Very welcoming, requested an early check in, due to Trekking up Ben Nevis at night so was in need of some sleep. Very accommodating and we were able to access our room at 12pm. Hot tub was an added bonus. Shame we had to leave early the following day as would have loved to of tried their breakfast. The honesty drinks fridge was a nice touch.
Tips:Be sure to book the hot tub, the views from it are amazing.

We felt really welcome and at home throughout our stay by owners and Skye! Had a lovely room with the best shower, thoughtful additions e.g fridge, milk, robes and slippers. Hot tub was so welcome and booking system worked well. Lovely breakfasts. We would recommend without hesitation and hope to come back when next in the area. Thank you.
Tips:Nice walk through to Fort William on footpath and visit Highland Soap Company just over the river on the way. Lochaber and Nevis taxis both good and reliable. Lovely meal (fish) at Garrison West in Fort William.

Tips:Hot tub was a superb way to relax after 6 days of hiking. As pointed out by the hosts, the b&b is a couple of miles out of town but not a problem to get to if you have a car.

Kayleigh was very friendly and helpful. The house was immaculate and there was everything anyone could ask for in the bedroom and dining room. Incredible view of Ben Lomond out of the dining room window. Dogs are very welcome with a special welcome pack. Delicious breakfast with a huge variety to choose from. Fresh milk available and a fridge in the bedroom.
Tips:You can use the dining room and microwave. There is a park just over the river bridge, just a couple of minutes, where you can walk your dog.

Kayleigh is a lovely host she was very welcoming and great to chat to. The b&b is very modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast room is spacious and well laid out with plenty of breakfast choices, food was very tasty. Highly recommend.
Tips:It's about 30-40 mins walk into Fort William. We walked during the day and at night used the local taxi to get back. Cost was £10. I wouldn't be put off by this though. If you want quality then this is the place to stay

Obviously striving for perfection and doing a very good job of it very luxurious room and one of the best breakfasts we have been treated to on our many trips away the only thing i’d recommend for yous would be a hook to hang your towel when showering and a shelf to put your bathroom bits and pieces and maybe offer a choice of pillows other than that amazing place keep up the good work 10/10

This is such a great place to stay, Kayleigh was so welcoming and friendly and made our stay that much better. I feel like every little detail has been thought about and we really appreciated the hot tub after hiking Ben Nevis. The breakfast is incredible. This is the place to stay in Fort William.

We stayed in the Glen Coe room which is essentially a mini suite (one room for us, one room for the kids). It was immaculately clean and well equipped, and just what we needed as a place to stay before our family hike up Ben Nevis. Kayleigh was very accommodating and left out some breakfast bits so we could fuel up earlier than the B&Bs breakfast hours. She also gave us a great recommendations for somewhere to eat out (The Caddyshack) the evening before our climb. Parking is easy there, and the beds very comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay at Victoria House.

Fabulous B&B . We stayed here for one night before continuing our journey to the Isle of Skye. From the minute you walked through the door you had a lovely welcome.Kayleigh was a great host. The room was big with a bed,sofa,fridge,tea coffee facilities. Also on arrival a dog bed and towel provided and a lovely doggy bag with goodies for our dog. I would definitely recommend this B&B also fab views of Ben Nevis.

Booking was simple. Karen's comms were on point. Kayleigh as our host was awesome to say the least. House, facilities, bedroom and ensuite were exceptionally clean. Room was adorned with quality bedding, towels and toiletries, refreshed daily if required. A well stocked and eclectic array of teas and coffees in room were top notch, as well as a fridge for fresh milk and other perishables was very welcome. Breakfast was always freshly prepared and served with a smile, with no reasonable requests refused or too much trouble. Sitting in the hot tub, gazing up at a snowy Ben Nevis was a welcome and refreshing end of day treat too. If Carlsberg did guesthouses, they would most definitely create a Victoria House for sure - Five Stars and a must stay venue.
Tips:If you're looking to stay in or around Fort William, you should seriously consider Victoria House.

What a find. Never before have we stayed anywhere so accommodating. Going the extra mile seemed to be just routine at Victoria House. Mandy made us feel like family from the minute we stepped through the door. Fantastic breakfasts, lovely rooms and a hot tub to soak the tired limbs after a long day. Really could not fault a thing and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Victoria House breaks the mould as far as UK bed and breakfast accommodation goes. All are made to feel welcome and special at this gem of Scottish hospitality.

The house was in a handy location and we particularly enjoyed walking into Fort William and back each evening for dinner (about 30 min each way). Mandy couldn't do enough to assist us during our stay and ensure we had everything we needed - she made the whole family feel extremely welcome. The kids particularly enjoyed being offered sweets when she saw them! The hot tub was a great way to relax after being active all day.
Tips:Definitely recommend walking into town and back for dinner - path was well lit in the dark and felt quite safe. Lots of nice eateries on Fort William high street.

Fantastic in every way - large en-suite room with the softest towels, fridge and drink making facilities in room. Very good cooked breakfast at a time that suited us each day. The host is the friendliest lady you could meet-very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Very knowledgable about the area on where to go, where to eat and how to get taxi back in the evening. Based only 2km from town centre with lovely walk with pavements and lighting all the way by the river to town.
Tips:Ideal location for Fort William, Ben Nevis and train to Glenfinnian Viaduct on foot. Nevis Range Gondola only 6 miles away and ideal way to view the mountain range for non climbers. Travelling in February a number of restaurants, bars and cafes were closed. Tandoori Indian in town was excellent, Black Isle Bar has good selection of real ales and pizzas. Also has the cleanest Wetherspoons have ever seen!

Mandy was an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The room was so spacious and clean and the breakfast was amazing. There's not a lot we can say that hasn't been said before, about the great food, spacious rooms with literally everything you need and more, and of course the fabulous hot tub! From the moment we booked Mandy made us feel important. So much so, that we did not want to leave! We loved every minute of our stay as did our dog. We were all spoiled rotten by Mandy! Fabulous: I can perfectly say that this is one of the best places I've ever stayed. Since the moment we arrived, we felt more than welcome. We were treated like family and the staff was absolutely great. There is literally nothing bad that I can say about this B&B. My girlfriend, my dog and I will be back again if we ever go back to Fort William
Tips:If you like hiking there are plenty of beautiful walks around where you can get in less than 10 minutes by driving, the city centre is 3 minutes by driving and you've got plenty of restaurants and take away in the area as well

We loved staying at this establishment and was the best B&B on our trip to Scotland. The large wonderful room was a delight and the attention to decorative detail was remarkable. Mandy is truly a warm and wonderful hostess. Our only fault was that the breakfast was average, compared to other places where we stayed.
Tips:You would need to drive to restaurants in the evening. Victoria House is not within a short walking distance to restaurants and pubs, but the standard of accommodation, does not make this a burden.

We felt so incredibly welcome from the minute we came in until our last. Visited with our one year old, everytime we came by with him there was time and patience for a little play, which he always loved. He laughed so much in your house! Tips:Besides the above there is a wonderful breakfast, lovely and cozy rooms, free and very good WIFI and nothing was missing for us. Nearby are some spots like supermarkets or restaurant (even a McDonald's) and a lot to see of the beautiful nature. Too much for the short time we could be there. We can highly recommend the B&B!

Nothing much you can do to make the location more central, but it’s really the only downside. And to be honest, it makes little difference if you have a car.
Tips:It didn’t bother me, but it may have been a pDoblen for some that I was next to an infant and that there was a dog in the house. Forward notice may have been appreciated, but it could have resulted in a cancelled booking, I suppose. Staff are amazing

A lovely stay in Fort William. Mandy was very welcoming. The room was very nice and spacious. Located close to Ben Nevis, Steall Waterfall and the Aonach Mór Gondola by car it was a great place to stay on our travels of Scotland. The Jacuzzi was great after a day of walking. Breakfast was very tasty the next morning as well, the full English.
Tips:The Steall waterfall and rope-bridge are worth doing and the Gondola for views at the top. Especially if you’re not thinking of doing Ben Nevis but still want to take in the views.

I can't recommend Victoria House enough. My wife and I decided to stay here before we started the first leg of our three peaks challenge. The room was really clean and smart, as was the bathroom, and the bed was super-comfortable. Posh-coffee machine was also very welcome! We mentioned to Karen that we were leaving early at 5am the next morning, and that evening she very kindly provided us with some cereal and milk to eat in our room the next morning, and some fruit and bars to take for our climb, which was massively appreciated. Also, can't recommend the hot tub enough. If you do stay here, book it!
Tips:Our stay was very brief, but if anyone is considering staying here for the three peaks challenge (or anything else!), I'd strongly recommend here. It's a short 5 min taxi ride from Victoria House to Fort William town centre if you wanted to save your legs for the climb.

Do you feel you read to many reviews and are confused where to stay around fort William. You can stop now as THIS is the place! I've been to many hotels and b&b but this is by far the best experience I've ever had. Everything was perfect. You will feel at home in this cosy family run place. Mandy and Justin were a delight. Nothing we asked for was a bother and they were so accommodating. Knowing my legs were very sore they let me use the hot tub whenever I needed. It worked wonders and the view to Ben Nevis was stunning. Breakfast was great and the whole family loved it. Room was brilliant, it was ideal having the family room sub divided into two separate rooms so the children and us had space. Wee recommendation would be a tiny side table (or similar) between the two seats in the main room so I could put my cup down when sitting in the seats watching tv. To sum up, loved the place and would definitely be back and recommend to everyone!

Mandy and Justin are extremely welcoming and friendly hosts, nothing is too much bother. We generally use Fort William area as a stop off point for longer trips and now we’ve found this bed and breakfast, we’ll be using this regularly. Some of our party booked a slot in the hot tub and Mandy organised us having a small lounge/dining room for ourselves to eat our takeaway and relax. It felt like a home from home. The rooms were clean and comfortably furnished. Mandy and Justin also made a fuss of our small dog too. Would highly recommend Victoria House, if you’re planning a visit to this area.
Tips:Abi’a kebabs in Fort William was recommended by the hosts for a takeaway and the food was delivered on time and was delicious.

Great location, exceptionally friendly hosts, faultless room,lovely hot tub with robes provided, superb breakfast, definitely be going back just for longer than one night.
Tips:Nice walk along the river into town with many restaurants to choose from- they did get busy and we were lucky not having to wait as arrived early at 6.30 and got the last table where we chose to eat- on leaving we saw a number of queues at various restaurants of people waiting.

Staff were great - friendly and helpful and Mandy offered to drive us to the local pub for our evening meal . We had help with our luggage and bags which was really helpful and Co kind. Really good atmosphere and would definitely recommend staying there . The decor was really smart and tastefully modern in an old styled house . We all loved it and would buy it ! Breakfast was very good and rooms were super. Warm and comfortable. En-suites and bathrooms stunning .
Tips:The B& B had a hot tub on offer and although we didn’t use it others did and loved it. The local pub/restaurant “The Lochy” was nearby and had good food and pleasant atmosphere. Taxi service was no problem later at night .

The B&B is fantastic with excellent facilities and friendly, helpful hosts. The room we had was very clean and comfortable and it was great that there was a secure area to let the dogs have a wee mill around outdoors.
Tips:Book your breakfast late because you won't want to get up from the comfy bed! We ate at the Crofter bar and restaurant and enjoyed some lovely food.

We had a lot of lovely bed and breakfast stays for our trip to Scotland... but Victoria House was definitely the best!! We could not have asked for a warmers welcome and the rooms were so comfortable, modern and.had everything we needed. Our canine companion got his own bed (and a sausage at breakfast!!) and it was absolute bliss to slip into the hottub after a hard day's walking. Our hosts did everything they could to make us feel welcome and like we had everything we needed and we wishes we could have stayed longer!

Mandy and Justin were great - so welcoming and they were great with the dog (she loved all the biscuits). The hot tub was brilliant - we managed to get use of it both nights. We were also given the family room which was ideal for having the dog and allowing her more space. Breakfast was great too - we felt very catered for and was far more enjoyable than staying in a hotel. Mandy gave us lots of tips on what to do and where to go. We had a great weekend and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic. Mandy was super lovely and amazingly bought me some bubbles to celebrate climbing Ben Nevis! Had an amazing time with bubbles in the hot tub! Nothing too much trouble. Room was just superb, incredibly comfy and clean. TV had Netflix too which was a fab bonus. Loved having a fridge in it to put some of my sandwich food in. Also a coffee machine (did not use it). I was leaving early, so a breakfast tray was made with a huge amount of food (cereals/ porridge to just add hot water from room kettle/ fresh fruit/ chocolate croissants/ yoghurts etc). Highly recommend.
Tips:Loads of hiking/ climbing! Great places to eat in Fort William. Would recommend Black Isle Bar, Grog & Gruel and cinema Cafe. All were fab.

My Children were a bit worried about accommodation at a home but they were won over and have given Victoria House a 5 star rating. The boys enjoyed the hot tub after a day skiing.
Tips:When u drive all the way to Malliag you get to see several things like treasures of the earth, Glenfinnan, Arisaig white beach and the Mallaig. In town you can visit the museum for free on the high Street in Fort William. Of course for skiers there is the Nevis mountain range.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay for a break. Accommodation is very comfortable, spotless, smells great, luxury carpets , comfortable beds, tv with plenty to watch and Netflix, free WiFi, located with great view of Ben Nevis and close to everything you need. The hosts are lovely, go over and beyond to accommodate us. Made my children and little chihuahua very welcome with treats on arrival. I loved the extras (sleep sprays, toiletries, sleep masks, fluffy robes and slippers) we also used the hot tub both nights. The children enjoyed it. It was private and again the hosts made sure we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Breakfast was a full English breakfast. Justin is a bread cook! Also cereal fruit etc was served also which the kids enjoyed. I can’t fault anything about the hosts. Both were amazing. The beds are comfortable. The shower is amazing. And we will defo use this place again. Highly recommend
Tips:We attended the Nevis centre for the soft play area. We had our 11 year old daughter and 3 year old autistic daughter with us. The centre provides a large play area with lots of seats. It had sensory areas for children like our daughter and is a great place for all ages. We had lunch after in the brews fayre which is located behind it. Very nice food and good service. We also visited the highland soap factory. Was a nice little visit and we got lovely smelling bath treats!

Amazingly kind hosts, very accommodating and cheerful. The bed's are very comftable and have a deluxe feel to them. Hand soap, moisturiser, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner all provided s well as plenty of tea and coffee. Hot tub was amazing and new shelter creates a sense of privacy despite close proximity to road.
Tips:Bring Bluetooth earphones, preferably waterproof to listen to relaxing music in the Hot Tub Chat to the hosts, for they are happy to help Stay for more than just the Jacobite train or the Nevis Range gondola, there are far more things to do, and for a lot less money too!

Excellent service, extremely friendly and nothing was to much trouble for the owners. We were literally looked a after and catered for above and beyond what we expected, amazing clean rooms and comfortable beds, lovely and warm after a day out in the cold weather. Staff had second to none and superb knowledge of the area and could answer any questions we had with ease. We cannot wait to stay again in the new year.

Mandy couldn't be more helpful. We were welcomed warmly and they were both friendly and accepting of our little dog. We were given a choice of rooms, which were all comfortable and well equipped. Mandy even gave us a lift to the town for the evening. The room was warm and comfortable, the coffee machine was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

A warm welcome waiting for us as soon as we arrived, including the dogs! Mandy couldn't do more for us, she was so attentive to us during our stay, we didn't want for anything, she already had it covered! Meanwhile, Justin whipped up a hearty breakfast with all the trimmings! If you're looking for a home from home with a friendly feel, modern furnishings Inc all the little touches (sleep masks, chocs on pillows etc), to explore Fort William or conquer Ben Nevis this is your place to be without a doubt! The hot tub is amazing too (something Mandy also saw was always hot & ready for us). The perfect start to our trip.
Tips:Ben Nevis is a 6 minute drive from the house. Aldi a 10 minute drive Lots of lovely local restauraunts and shops close by.

If i could put more stars I would!! The second we got greeted we felt super welcome, we came with 2 dogs and the lady could not of been more amazing towards them and us. The dogs got treats and even a cheeky sausage in the morning! Lovely place to stay we felt very accommodated. Great stay in Ft William on the Northside of town. We had some difficulty finding the B&B but a helpful neighbor pointed us in the right direction. Victoria House was a very comfortable stay. The local managers couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. They provided us with some welcoming adult beverages and recommended a local spot for dinner. Highly recommended!

It was really nice to Stay in Victoria House. Me and my family stay here for four nights in a family room with stunning mountain view. The room is spacious and very comfortable . The toilet is quite modern and very clean . Mandy and her husband Justin are so nice and helpful during our stay and Mandy sometimes will get you some surprises 😊.The location of Victoria house is good and very close to the town centre and you will get lots of restaurants from there. Victoria House is a homely comfortable place to stay. It’s located a little out of Fort William but if you have a car it’s not a major inconvenience. Mandy, who greeted me, was lovely, personable and keen to make you welcome. I arrived during the recent ‘heatwave’ and she had supplied a fan in the room and had closed the window blinds to keep the room cool for my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and the shower worked well. Breakfast was lovely.
Tips:I was directed by Mandy to the local ‘chippy’ in Caol - I ate my dinner on a bench overlooking Neptune’s Staircase - the lock system that brings the Caledonian Canal down to sea level.

We stayed here for a night after completing the north coast 500, the service from the staff was exceptional and they made us feel very welcome and took the time to tell us all about fort william, where to go and where to eat, the breakfast was spot on and they even made some for our dog too. Very highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again

Our hosts, Mandy and Justin were outstandingly helpful. They were very welcoming and keen to do all they could to make our stay comfortable. I’m sure Mandy is a relative of Wonder Woman 😊 They were very organised and served a great breakfast which got us up Ben Nevis! We lived our room. It was so clean and the fridge was a bonus! Thank you for everything.
Tips:We are in the Cinema Cafe. It had a good choice of menu and the food was good. Nice atmosphere and staff were friendly and efficient

Friendly hosts and lovely accomodation. The suite we were in was just perfect and nicelt furnished and all mod cons. Everywhere was spotless and clean. Had a terrific breakfast and even our dog was fed and watered! Very pet friendly accomodation which isnt always easy to find. Many thanks for a great stay, we will definitely be back

It was really lovely.Owners Justin and Mandy were very friendly, they looked after us very well, they even spoiled us with a lovely surprise.Very tidy room and very tasty multi-choice breakfast. We felt like staying around friends .We would definitely recommend it. Next time if we will choose Fort Wiliam to stay, Victoria House will be our choice for sure.

We booked for a family of 2 adults and a child for one night, and we were so pleased with everything. Key points of note: 1. We received a text from Mandy, asking for our arrival time, at which point Justin was ready and waiting for us. They are warm, friendly and kind hosts, who make the experience a very welcoming one. 2. They are very conscious of Covid precautions and the entire place is very clean and tidy, with hand sanitizers and signs everywhere. 3. The rooms are lovely and spacious. We were upgraded to the Glen Nevis room, which has amazing views of the mountains and the river, and all the amenities such as a modern power shower, coffee machine and a fridge. 4. Breakfast is divine, with a choice of cereals, yoghurt and of course, a full Scottish. Your order is taken the day before and ready when you arrive. Breakfast timings are spread out, to minimise contact with other guests. 5. We ordered takeaway on Saturday night, and Mandy set us up with a dining table, so we could eat comfortably. The kindness, passion and love for what Mandy and Justin do is evident in everything they do. I cannot thank them enough for a fantastic and memorable stay. We will definitely be back.

Mandy and Justin were amazing hosts at a lovely property. They went out of their way to make sure we had a superb stay and were so welcoming of our dog. Room was large and comfortable; breakfast was amazing and all in the backdrop of Ben Nevis.
Tips:We were only passing through so had a takeaway and few beers in the garden of the guest house. Mandy and Justin helped us out with a recommendation and cutlery to make sure we had a good experience. Recommendation is to book and allow more time to enjoy it

Mandy and Justin were brilliant hosts. We were a party of 6 They gave us 3 rooms together and were lovely with our 11/12 golden retriever. We had a takeaway and they let us eat in the dining room. Super friendly and helpful from the moment of arrival, Mandy and Justin even made our dog Winston feel at home and made a big fuss of him even supplying a bowl of sausages for his breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was superb!

A very warm friendly welcoming from the owner Mandy, Great location situated very close to the local shops, bars and restaurants. A large double bedroom, beautiful decor and spacious. Everywhere was perfectly clean. Mandy was very helpful and accommodating with the local information. The breakfast was lovely, served hot and wow the sausage was awesome. Staff exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Room was superb as it we needed to sleep 5 this is very difficult to come across in most hotels for this price. Breakfast was great as well, and was done well in a socially distanced manner. Guest house very easy to find.
Tips:Staff at the hotel recommended restaurant "The Crofter" in centre of town. Food was very good value for money there. We also went to climb Ben Nevis the following day which was very straightforward to find. Fort William also contains an Aldi, Home Bargains and Costa which some of our party visited while others climbed the mountain!

Well received and looked after by Mandy and Justin who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable with our wee Westie. Location is very convenient but immediately adjacent the main road where road traffic noise is ok if you are used to it.......
Tips:It’s a short walk down a quiet road and over the river to the ruins of Old Inverlochy Castle. We walked to Caol, about 20 minutes away where there is a sandy beach on the shores of the Loch.

Exceptional We felt welcome from the very first moment. The best breakfast in Scotland we had here. The room was very clean. Our kids loved how they were treated by Mandy. Warm and friendly reception and Mandy was exceptional in taking care of us from the moment we arrived until we left. The rooms were a good size with ensuite and the breakfast was just what one needed to start the day. Free wifi as well. Definitely a good find for a stay just outside Fort William so we will return if we are ever back in the area. Need a car or a good walk into town or there is a great taxi service we used.
Tips:Fort William had some things open but we are still in lock down for many at this time, but the surrounding area is full of good things to see and do. We booked on the Steam Train to Maliiag, (Harry Potter fame).

Absolutely excellent stay. The Glencoe apartment was massive and spotlessly clean. The host was wonderful and made as feel like home. Breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared. Looking forward to come back to stay at Victoria house again. Will recommend all friends travelling towards fort William.
Tips:Just 5 min from the hause is the shipwreck which must be seen. We have done a day trip to small town Mallaig (40 miles). On the way you can stop at the famous Harry Potter Glenfinnan viaduct , and also beautiful white sanded beach at Camusdarach. From Mallaig you can jump on ferry to take you over on isle of Skye. 17 pounds family of 3 plus car. We are the bikers, so nevis range was just wonderful and also you can take a gondola on the top. Stills waterfall is also great place to see

Mandy and Justin are the perfect hosts for Victoria House. The Homestay is spacious, clean, beautiful with amazing Mountain views! We were greeted warmly by Mandy and she showed us two huge rooms for our family of eight. The breakfast prepared was more than enough for the whole family. Thanks for a fantastic stay. Mandy was very welcoming and friendly. Her tip about visiting a hotel near Glencoe and being able to feed Sam the stag was very helpful. When we left the next morning she even gave us bread to feed the deer. We successfully found them and have some great photos and video footage of us feeding Sam. Many thanks Mandy.
