Was basic accommodation, but was all we were looking for as out all day & was just somewhere for shower & bed. Was clean & plenty cutlery & dishes .If staying longer a freezer would be nice addition & Shelf in fridge broken so was unable to use . Accommodation has great views of Ben Nevis & over the bay to Fort William
Tips:Eat a Tradewinds nice pub grub. Co-op just round corner, Railway station just in front of accommodation, great location for climbing Ben Nevis. Nice walk along canal & on to the shore.

The shower head wouldn’t stay in position and on the final day the bracket came off. With hindsight I should have mentioned earlier as I now realise the screw holding the bracket was very loose.
Tips:The Lochy is a great put for families - although was booked up on Friday when we tried to go. The chip shop in Caol was a nice alternative

Brilliant accommodation and staff. Simple but clean with all the facilities needed. Great parking Great views the staff were very helpful. We were met in the carpark and everything was explained. There is a railway just in front of the accommodation but it didn't bother us. We will stay again.
Tips:Not many good restaurants close by but lots of choice in the main part of Fort William roughly 10 mins drive. If you are going to walk Ben Nevis the CMD route is a must!! Challenging walk but no real exposure in my opinion. Great waffles near Neptune's stairs 😋

Staff v friendly (thank you). Oven had something burned on it so smoked flat out first time we used it. Shower head very wobbly in shower.
Tips:Location for the loch shore was great. Not too far to get into Fort William by car. Took about ten minutes to drive up to Glen Nevis car park for ben Nevis path. Parking at Mountain Goose was good. Rooms were quiet and spacious. Good for trainspotters, there's a steam train comes past just after 1000h each morning. Lovely cafe at the marina by the loch. Local pubs: the Lochy (no great shakes but will do pub grub) and the Trade Winds (pretty basic boozer, but I liked it). Well stocked coop a short walk away and an M&S Food and Lidl a short drive away.

Need to replace the missing switches on the electric hob and remark the ring locations near the switches. We had to ask for the hand wash liquid to be renewed and the dish towels to be changed mid week. Plus had to supply our own toilet rolls at the end of the week I would have thought that they would be standard due to the amount of money £5011 we paid for the accommodation Only small issues as we all enjoyed our stay at your accommodation, and it would have been good to have seen the owners
Tips:Just go walking.

This wonderful accommodation will always have a special place in our hearts. We love visiting and are never disappointed. Staff are always incredibly kind and welcoming, and the location and views are unparalleled. Never mind 5* hotels... get to the Snowgoose Centre - our "go to" place in the Scottish Highlands!
Tips:If you're looking for an outstanding restaurant, try the Nevis Bank Inn (Browns Restaurant) - beautiful food and atmosphere. Always plenty to do in all weathers! When the weather is nice, get to Morar beach, climb the Glenfinnan Monument, try the Aonach More Gondola. Walkers - try going to Steall Falls. New for us this year was Glencoe Lochan Trail.

We had a brilliant stay here for my 40th. The plan was to hike Ben Nevis (which you have an incredible view of from the accommodation window) but we were foiled by the weather. We ended up on a smaller hill, plenty of alternatives to choose from. The Bunkhouse was clean, beds were comfy, showers were fine and the kitchen was well equipped. If you're looking for budget friendly hiking accomodation for a large group you can't really go wrong with this- 20 of us had a brilliant weekend. Shout out also to the Tradewinds pub - decent pints, pool table & a jukebox and only 2 mins walk from the accommodation. Staff were lovely and gave us tons of local trips.
Tips:Co-op, pub, cafe and a train line all within a 2 min walk of the accomodation.

Tips:Brilliant location on the canal and only a short walk to Neptune's staircase and Fort william The train passes at the bottom of the garden and it's spectacular to watch the steam trains go by . The Bunkhouse is warm and comfortable with WiFi, cooking facilities and lovely views .there's a cafe ,coop and local pub nearby .I

Lovely location & nice clean apartments. Lacked a few basic items like a clothes horse ( no where to dry clothes, or at least could n`t see any where), & the extractor fan over the cooker was still broken. Reported it last May, but still not fixed. Apart from that, BRILLIANT! LOVED IT!!!!
Tips:This place is so handy for walking & sight seeing. There is a co-op just around the corner, a train station out side the front door, & a local bus stop for a trip to Fort William. Great views of Ben Nevis & comfortable. Spent many happy hour sat outside reading books & enjoying sunshine. Canal is just outside too. Would happily come back again!

Really well maintained accommodation. Awesome location by the harbour with great views overlooking the loch. Tina was always available during booking process and very helpful sorting out things for us. Our travelling group thoroughly enjoyed the stay - awesome place to stay.
Tips:Glen finnnan not to be missed with great loch views from above the viaduct. Electric car charging - sort out bp pulse account before you use the one right behind the acco, else it’s a round trip to Fw town centre. Don’t miss local bus trips around - even if travelling by car. Gives great views from atop/higher. Pre book your bus trips - it gets very busy and fills up on day.

From initial enquiry through to the actual stay, the communication from Snowgoose has been fantastic; Tina was always very quick to respond to any queries and went out of her way to assist our large group. It must have been very challenging during Covid restrictions to remain flexible and yet we always felt that we were valued and important customers. We had to change our booking twice and were fortunate to finally stay and use the accommodation as a base for a walk up Ben Nevis. All the feedback from our group, about the accommodation, was very positive and it was ideal for a large group; we used the communal area in Blacksmiths for group briefings and gatherings.
Tips:Climb Ben Nevis; the weather was very challenging and yet the mountain was really busy. We were a large group (24) who did reach the top the mountain but it was difficult to stay together. Our food was provided by Tradewinds Bar (2 minutes walk); it was quite delicious and just what was required after a cold/wet day on the mountain. This was easy to pre-order (main course and pudding); we informed them of dietary requirements in advance. We collected the food, ate it in the communal area of Blacksmiths and returned the pots/pans the following morning. This was a cost effective way to feed everyone and still enable us to carry out a review of the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Snowgoose Apartments. The location was perfect for us with the train line, canal and Loch all in walking distance. My children loved the fact the ‘Hogwarts Express’ was literally on the doorstep. The view from our bedroom window of Ben Nevis with the Loch was literally breathtaking and with the changing cloud formations kept us all mesmerised. The accommodation itself although a little dated was exceptionally clean, the towels fluffy and the beds really comfy. We only wish we had brought our bikes as there are easy family bike rides from the property along the canal. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back to stay - thank you.
Tips:The whole area is beautiful, we were blessed with good weather and there is so much to explore. The only downside was the midges but that is expected at the height of summer.
