Innes and Jean could not have been more welcoming to their beautiful home. The property is immaculate and exceptionally clean. The views from our room and from the dining room are as breathtaking as advertised. The beautiful garden is a haven for wildlife. We will return.

We had the most wonderful stay with Jean and Innes, thank you for everything, including your understanding and help with our flat tire! The room was so comfortable and well equipped with the best view to wake up to. We also absolutely loved the breakfast, smoked salmon was such a hit! We loved getting to know you and hearing about your animals and your history in the area, and meeting the sparrow hawk.

Tips:

Thanks to the recommendation of Innes we had a great dinner and some pints at The Lochy while watching the premier league, and we also LOVED hiking up Ben Nevis even in very poor weather conditions (be prepared!)

Our room w/ bathroom was spotless and well-appointed (comfy pillows☺️,too). At breakfast (private tables, not always an option at B&B’s) we remarked on the amazing fruit. Apparently it was high season for berries and Travee had them! Would recommend Travee to friends!

Innes & Jean were great during our stay in early June and we had a beautiful stay at Travee. The rooms are next level, super clean, very high quality, very comfortable and oh so quiet. Breakfast was on a whole different level too. It was great to enjoy a good sleep after hiking the West Highland Way. The whole house and garden is simply beautiful and one could easily stay and relax for a couple more days. It's a bit outside of Fort William but we hiked along the Loch which is quite nice and took us ~40min and we had a wonderful stop at the Highland Soap Company which i'd highly recommend for great food and if course lovely smelling soap. Jean was of great help guiding us to the right bus to get back to Fort William the next day. Bus stop is 2min from Travee and it's super easy and quick to get to Fort William Train Station and Bus Station this way to head back to Glasgow. Thank you so much Innes & Jean for the wonderful stay.

Tips:

Make sure to stop at Highland Soap Company for great food and a nice experience, the walk along the Loch from Fort William to Travee is very nice and takes around 40-60min.

Jean and Innes are great hosts and we had a lovely stay during the two nights spent at Travee. The view from the bedroom and the breakfast room is amazing, with quite a wildlife in the garden! The bedroom is quite spacious with a great bedding (best we have seen in Scotland during our two weeks trip). The breakfast is also great, with two options for the cooked part (the salmon and eggs were delicious) and a variety of choice in self service. Thank you for hosting us!

Travee was such a wonderful place to spend the night. Innes was a super friendly and welcoming host and he even gave us a tip about where to see the steam train pass by at nearby Glenfinnan, which was something we hadn't been planning for -- but it turned out to be a great experience! The facilities inside the house were all you could possibly ask for, really felt like a home away from home. The little stuffed animals here and there were a nice touch that brought a smile to my face. Our room had an amazing view of Ben Nevis as well as the rest of the town, and the in-suite bathroom and bed were perfectly fine. Appreciated the tea, coffee and local snacks that were laid out in the room too. (I liked the caramel wafers so much I bought a whole box!) I had the full Scottish breakfast the next morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. Never expected black pudding to be so good. My friend and I were lucky enough to get the window seat in the dining room. Overall there was nothing at all I could possibly complain about. Thank you once again to Innes for such a wonderful stay!

Tips:

Room 2 is the one with the view of Ben Nevis! The driveway leading up to the house is a short but steep incline. Not a big problem, but just so you know.

We stayed at Travee for 2 nights. Innes & Jean made us very welcome. Our room had a stunning view overlooking the lock & when the cloud cleared we had a superb view of Ben Nevis. This B&B is exceptional! Our room was spotless, spacious with plenty of storage & to a very high standard. Excellent breakfast. Lots of nice additional touches including use of binoculars - Innes & Jean seemed to have thought of everything. They set the bar very high for our 2 week NC 500 trip which, although we stayed at very nice premises, was not surpassed! Thanks so much

Tips:

Innes recommended several restaurants but unfortunately they were all fully booked so suggest booking in advance of your stay! There is a pub which is within walking distance which is fine for a quick meal. We decided to walk to Steall falls. Made the mistake of parking at Ben Nevis carpark as the Glen Nevis carpark was closed. Don't - it is a very long walk! There are several small car parks nearer to the start of the walk.

Superb. Honest and well organised, equipped to extremely high standards, most comfortable rooms, all sorts of little extras, great views and delightful walks and cycle rides in the neighbourhood.

Tips:

Parking space a bit limited so try to turn round on arrival. Bikes can be hired locally. 20mins walk along the canal side takes you to a pub for an evening meal.

Truly the most wonderful hospitality I've experienced in a BnB. Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful weekend.

Tips:

The Treasures of the Earth museum just can't be missed! It is really an extraordinary collection if you are interested in geology, and only a 5 minute walk away. The e-bikes down by the train station also make this a much better location than expected. They put everything within a few minutes easy ride, without compromising the perfect view you get from Travee!

A lovely B&B, very professionally run by Jean and Innes. Well set up and laid out, the room was very comfortable. A good cooked vegetarian breakfast alongside a well stocked breakfast buffet if I'd wanted more, and decent coffee (important to me in the morning!) The view from both the bedroom and the guest lounge/breakfast room are spectacular. Everything was very clean.

Tips:

The B&B is a very short stroll from the centre of Corpach, where there's a handy Coop shop. There look to be some lovely walks by the canal too, though I wasn't there long enough to take advantage. The chip shop in nearby Caol is very good for a quick takeaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Travee. The house is lovely and the views are amazing (incuding Ben Nevis and the daily passing steam train). Our host was tremendous, explaining many things for us to do and see.

Tips:

Next time we shall book a journey on the steam train. A must visit is the Neptunes Staircase - just a short walk away from Travee. We were able to see Lord of the Glens Cruise Ship passing through the 7 locks - amazing sight.

Innes gave us some great ideas for places to visit, which we would probably have missed otherwise. Thank you Jean and Innes for allowing us to share your lovely home.

We were greeted by Iness at the entrance and he even remembered my name (very friendly),after check in, he helped carrying one of the case to our room then explained about the content of the pictures on the wall also told us about the red squirrel at the tree in front of the house and to watch out for the steam train (Hogwarts express to Harry Potter fans) returning to Fort William which we saw twenty minutes later at 6:35pm, that was a bonus. Located twenty minutes away from the Glenfinnan viaduct, with first class service, excellent breakfast with fresh berries that you might not see in a high end hotel. Jean came into the breakfast room to greet her guests after breakfast the next morning, again very friendly. Travee is highly recommended.

Guest should reverse their vehicles into the parking space provided for an easy exit.

We couldn’t fault it at all. Everything was to a high standard. Rooms were excellent with a fantastic view of Ben Nevis and Loch Eil. Our hosts Innes and Jean were lovely and gave us recommendations of places to eat and made sure that we got out in time to get to The Jacobite train on time. The breakfast was really good and would highly recommend Jeans poached eggs😀 . They were done to perfection! Also it was nice to have a lounge to sit in on the evening. We highly recommend a stay here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tips:

We ate at The Lochy both of the nights of our stay. The food is fantastic and at a reasonable price . I would highly recommend the Mongolian Beef Curry and also the King Tempura prawn salad. Don’t be put off by what it looks like from the outside as the inside is nice and the staff are great. The Jacobite Train was amazing with breathtaking scenery . If you get the chance , book first class as the carriage is really comfortable and also recommend booking an afternoon tea too.

Very friendly and helpful. We found Innes' local knowledge of the best places to go very useful.

The Ben Nevis Inn was the best place we found to eat in Fort William (simple food done well and excellent beers and cider). Slightly further afield, the pub at Corrour station was great if you like somewhere in the middle of nowhere and the Inn at Glenuig also looked good, although we only stopped for a coffee. We really enjoyed the circular trip from Travee to Glenfinnan then left at Lochailort and follow the A861 right round to the Corran Ferry. This gets you off the main tourist drag and the views are magnificent.

The room was very comfortable and I very much enjoyed the view from it. I appreciated the helpfulness of the owners (especially since I doubt I would have been able to turn my rental car around and get back down the driveway on my own). I enjoyed the conversations about Scotland and tourists to Scotland I had with both hosts. It was a very relaxing stay after a long drive from Skye.

Tips:

The view of Fort William from the B&B is wonderful, but it is difficult getting a large car up their driveway. It is worth it though!

Consigliato.

Good breakfast, continental or Scottish, and a nice breakfast room too.

Travee B&B was the highlight of our lodging locations during our 10 day trip to Scotland. The facilities are excellent and the view spectacular. Jean and Innes are delightful host and the breakfast was our favorite among all locations. We wished our travels had allowed for longer than one night stay. Do not hesitate to book this location if you are looking for a B&B in the Ft. William area!

This was the best B&B we have stayed in & we travel extensively. This was mainly due to Innes & Jean whose friendly & helpful approach was just great. They suggested many beautiful places to visit enhancing what we already planned to do with their local knowledge. Their immaculate attention to detail in all aspects made are stay wonderful. They were great to chat to and have a laugh with, we felt completely at home.

Tips:

A great base for exploring Fort William & surrounding areas. So much to do & see; 4 days was just not nearly enough time to spend in this location. The views every morning were just stunning. the local pub - The Lochy was welcoming with great home cooked food.

Gracious hosts---Ennis and Jean are lovely and welcoming. The view from their home is absolutely stunning. Breakfast was delicious. They recommended a local pub/cafe for dinner--- you can walk to it, but since it was late we drove. Their home is easy to locate---a sign is posted out on the road ---- but the view from their home is FABULOUS---our room and bed were comfy, nice linens, many areas within your room to charge all devices, hair dry available, coffee and tea in room--- lovely lovely lovely kind host and hostess. You feel most welcome---Ennis also helped with the bags.

Would highly recommend here for your stay in the Highlands. Enjoy, but book early as they are very popular.

We came to Corpach, expecting a peaceful couple of days away and that's exactly what we got! We absolutely loved the travee b&b. We were overwhelmed by the views from our bedroom window!!! We sat there for hours admiring the scenery. It was so picturesque. Ben Nevis standing there proud with the sun shining on him Our room was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Innes and Jeanie were perfect hosts, they couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful! And the breakfast - well it was just fab!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our wee break in Corpach and we're fortunate enough to have good weather too which just made the whole experience perfect. We would highly recommend this b&b to anyone. Stay in Travee b&b and look over the water to Fort William rather than staying in Fort William Trust us you won't regret it!

Tips:

We took a trip from Fort William to Mallaig first class on the Jacobite steam team which was an amazing experience. Got some fantastic photos!!! Some beautiful walks along the canal. Spent a while at the harbour watching the sun set. Visited neptunes ladder which is a spectacle to see so many locks for the boats to travel from the high part of the canal to lower part and then continue to the sea. For such a small place there was so many things to see.

Innes and Jean are wonderful hosts. This has been our best stay in a B & B to date. Our bed was beautifully comfortable, the room was well equipped, with a few extras that we did not get elsewhere. Smart TV, USB ports by the power outlets for recharging. A wash basin in our room and our own huge ensuite bathroom which has to be seen. Complimentary water bottles. Our breakfast was delicious, a pot of brewed tea (no teabags in this pot!), plunger coffee was also available, Along with a wide selection of Twinings teabags. Could not fault this stay.

Tips:

The Caledonian canal is a lovely walk, watching the boats being taken up and down the Lochs. We visited the Glenfinnian Viaduct at 10.30 to watch the Jacobite pass over at 10.45 ( a must for train enthusiasts or Harry Potter fans). Innis and Jean were by far our favorite hosts on our week long trip around Scotland. They were genuinely happy to see everyone and help out in anyway possible. The room was beautiful and had the absolute BEST view, and breakfast was lovely and we both left stuffed for our next day of exploration. Innis provided us with great tips on where to eat and even places to visit. The little church he recommended was beautiful!

Tips:

Go to the Glenfinnian viaduct and hike the trail that lets you get right up to it and then takes you to some of the most beautiful views! (https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fortwilliam/glenfinnan.shtml). Also, as Innis suggested to us, there is a beautiful little chapel just a little ways up the hill from the place you park for the hike. Definitely worth a visit.

Tips:

Perfect location for visiting Ben Nevis and Glenfinnan, or just a stopover before going to Skye. If taking ferry from Malaig, remember to book tickets in advance as it can get very busy!

Perfect B&B with stunning views to Ben Nevis and Fort William. Nice modern rooms, fresh and tasty breakfast and most important great hosts that share a lot of tips! Highly recommended place to stay for exploring the area.

Tips:

The Lochy is a decent pub after a 20 minutes walk along a beautiful canal and a very good option for dinner. Nearby the pub is also the stunning Neptune's Staircase.

Travee is a luxury B&B and was simply the best accomodation on our whole scotlandtrip! The host family welcomed us very warmly in their home. They provided lots of great tips for the region and further travels and also fulfilled all our extra wishes for breakfast. The roomes ar furnished with a lot of taste and perfectly clean. We stayed in room 4+5 with a shared bathroom - just across the hall with a huge walkin shower and luxury feeling. As Travee is located on a hill you can enjoy amazing views over the sea and glen nevis from the breakfast room and the front yard. It was a pleasure staying here and is highly recommended to everybody looking for a feel-good stay.

We had a great time at Travee! The location in the quiet village of Corpach is pleasant with fantastic views over the Loch, Fort William and Ben Nevis, even though it is a bit far from shops and restaurants. The room was beautiful, large, clean and tidy. The breakfast was also great! Jean and Innes are lovely and available, they are here to help you, give advice or just have a little chat anytime. We strongly recommend! Camille & Bryan

Travee is probably the best B&B that I have stayed in. Jean and Innes were the perfect hosts, nothing to much trouble. Room and house and gardens all spotless. Four USB ports in the room. The breakfasts were as good as it gets anywhere in the UK. The view over to Ben Nevis is fabulous (when you can see it, that is....)

Tips:

There's not much within walking distance, being on the outskirts of Fort William. This is offset by its proximity to the steam railway line to Mallaig and the Caledonian canal.

Amazing place! Innes gave us the most fantastic welcome and stopped halfway through to run outside with us and watch the most perfect sunset over Ben Nevis. A genuinely nice guy. Bedroom and bathroom were great, with decent WiFi, USB charging points, an amazing shower and a potent smell of citronella in the hallway which kept the midges at bay. Room view was to the side rather than over the bay, but the beautiful front garden offers an amazing view if you can withstand the midges. Breakfast was lovely, plus a nice chat with Jean and some fellow guests, and Innes offered some fantastic advice before we set off which really added to our whole day, including a delicious meal on Loch Leven that evening. Highly recommended! Wish we'd stayed longer! Only word of warning: driveway parking is an exercise in vehicle control when attempting to reverse out. It's tight.

Tips:

Glen Nevis and Oban were personal favourites. My travel companion loved the Jacobite railway and Stalker Castle - so something for everyone.

The owners Jean and Innes couldn't have been more helpful, as they recommended local places we could eat as we were traveling with our 1 year old daughter who was on finger food and we wanted cooked vegetables. Their B&B has fantastic views of the Loch and Ben Nevis, and the Jacobite train to Mallaig passes the house some 500 metres away. Neptunes Steps are 5 minutes up the road and you are 10 minutes from Fort William town centre. The next time we are in Fort William I will be booking into Travee.

The room was great, top marks for cleanliness, comfort and all amenities. We will recommend you to our friends and hope to meet you again if we are nearby.

Tips:

The accommodation was close to the Caledonian Canal and Neptunes staircase. Scotrail station was a short walk (as was the canal). There was a Gem Museum close by and cash machine and shopping at The CO-OP We didn't have an evening meal so can't comment on this. The Experience - We traveled all the way from Singapore to this quaint village, just outside Fort William city center. I found the place online and we couldn't have been happier with our overall experience. The details of our experience are listed below. In summary, this was one of the best 4 days I've spent anywhere! The Rooms - we took 2 rooms, both of which had incredible views of Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in all of UK. The rooms were absolutely immaculate & modern in every way possible. And bed was super comfy, something that's much needed after a tiring day! The Location - The Travee has the best location possible. It has the best views of Ben Nevis. It is a short 10 minute drive from Glen Nevis visitor center, from where you can go on various treks, including that of Ben Nevis. It is a short drive away from Fort William city center, which is full of restaurants. This quaint B&B is in the heart of the highlands, and a short drive away from restaurants, gas stations, from Glen Coe, Ben Nevis, etc. There are so many options in and around here that you can stay at the Travee for 2 days or 20, you'll have stuff to do. The Amenities - the amenities provided were simply outstanding. The hosts took care of the smallest of requirements, from top quality toiletries to multiple USB charging stations in multiple locations ... clearly the hosts thought of every need of the modern world! The Food - we got incredible breakfast in the morning. The hosts were extremely accommodating as well. The breakfast was way better that what we typically get in most 5 star hotels. ... and the experience was perfect in every way possible as you look at the amazing scenery from the dining room while having the most delicious start to the day. The Hosts - the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful in every way possible. We got lots of tips on what to do in and around the region - from trekking tips to road trips to places to eat. We spent quite a bit of time chatting when we weren't touring and the hosts even promised to accompany me on my next trek to Ben Nevis. What else could one ask for!! Disliked - absolutely nothing! It was a perfect stay in every way! I'v travel extensively for work and have stayed in 5-star accommodation all over the world. However, this beautiful B&B in Fort William will rate as one of the best places I've ever stayed at! We will be referring this place to all of our friends and we are sure to re-visit The Travee B&B again, hopefully soon!

Only stayed one night but the owners are very helpful and friendly, very nice breakfast which they kindly served at 7:30am (was working rather than holidaying).

7th June 2016:

Innes was there to greet us as we arrived and was more than welcoming. He explained the necessary information regarding rooms and breakfast and recommended places to eat and visit during our stay. The room itself was facing Ben Nevis - just lovely! It was very clean with good facilities and comfortable bed. Jean made a lovely breakfast and the continental options were excellent. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Tips:

Lockerby pub - great food! Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup - get to the Nevis Range for that weekend - great fun!

2nd June 2016:

Very friendly owners, made us feel welcome and at home. They also have lovely rooms and a very nice shower! Breakfast was also amazing!

Tips:

There're busses from the center of Fort William that drop you off right outside Travee. This makes it a convenient place even if you don't have a car. This B&B is worth the short bus ride, it's that nice!

27th May 2016:

Great place to spend a few nights, the owners are very friendly and helpful (we had a problem with the rented car and they helped us a lot). Good breakfast, cooked (we had to Scottish one) or not (fruits, yogurts and cereals). Close to all must-to-see of the area, you can even see the Jacobite train passing from the house. Very accessible, no noise even if next to the road (we had a room on the back-side). The room we had was very clean, modern with everything you can need. Fantastic view of the loch from the guest room.

Tips:

Good spot to travel either from Fort William to Mallaig or to Inverness.

Jean and Innes are fantastic hosts and the Travee is a great B&B. I stayed in the double room with private bathroom, the room was great and the shower amazing. Stayed on business for two nights and will definitely book here again.

Tips:

If you fancy a pub lunch or evening meal, try The Lochy pub; great value and great beers. It's a 20 minute or so walk from the B&B along the canal bank. Tony will give directions!

Absolutely fabulous hosts, couldn't do more for us and made us all feel very welcome. I would unreservedly recommend this B&B and will do so on Trip Advisor shortly.

Tips:

The Ben Nevis Inn is just a basic barn but the food is really good and the welcome very warm, I recommend it whether you are walking up The Ben or not. If you like Harry Potter and things "Hogwarts" , then a visit to Glenfinnan viaduct is a must-see. Walk to the viaduct and up the other side, on the right, for a great photo spot.
