Innes and Jean could not have been more welcoming to their beautiful home. The property is immaculate and exceptionally clean. The views from our room and from the dining room are as breathtaking as advertised. The beautiful garden is a haven for wildlife. We will return.

The Moorings Hotel Bistro is within walking distance and spectacularly situated by Neptune's Staircase.

There are a couple of eating places in walking distance but only a short bus ride into Fort William where there is lots to do. Good area for walking and the B&B is handy for the bus and train.

We had the most wonderful stay with Jean and Innes, thank you for everything, including your understanding and help with our flat tire! The room was so comfortable and well equipped with the best view to wake up to. We also absolutely loved the breakfast, smoked salmon was such a hit! We loved getting to know you and hearing about your animals and your history in the area, and meeting the sparrow hawk.

Thanks to the recommendation of Innes we had a great dinner and some pints at The Lochy while watching the premier league, and we also LOVED hiking up Ben Nevis even in very poor weather conditions (be prepared!)

Our room w/ bathroom was spotless and well-appointed (comfy pillows☺️,too). At breakfast (private tables, not always an option at B&B’s) we remarked on the amazing fruit. Three generations of our family stayed here and had a warm welcome and were extremely comfortable. Very well appointed, towels changed each day and a breakfast to suit all the family tastes. Great views. A good location just beyond Fort William, easy access to Ben Nevis area and Neptunes staircase and the Jacobite steam train which unfortunately was cancelled due to safety issues.

Good cafe/restaurant by the marina, 10 mins walk, or picnic in the garden with locally purchased produce.

Innes & Jean were great during our stay in early June and we had a beautiful stay at Travee. The rooms are next level, super clean, very high quality, very comfortable and oh so quiet. Breakfast was on a whole different level too. It was great to enjoy a good sleep after hiking the West Highland Way. The whole house and garden is simply beautiful and one could easily stay and relax for a couple more days. It's a bit outside of Fort William but we hiked along the Loch which is quite nice and took us ~40min and we had a wonderful stop at the Highland Soap Company which i'd highly recommend for great food and if course lovely smelling soap. Jean was of great help guiding us to the right bus to get back to Fort William the next day. Bus stop is 2min from Travee and it's super easy and quick to get to Fort William Train Station and Bus Station this way to head back to Glasgow. Thank you so much Innes & Jean for the wonderful stay.

Make sure to stop at Highland Soap Company for great food and a nice experience, the walk along the Loch from Fort William to Travee is very nice and takes around 40-60min.

Innes and his wife were both very friendly and welcoming. All the facilities were super comfortable, breakfast was self service but with a cooked option and fresh tea or coffee. The setting was magical overlooking Ben Nevis.

We were only there for one overnight, but we walked at Innes’ suggestion along the canal to our restaurant at The Moorings and back again before darkness fell - really lovely.

Plenty of choice for breakfast. I thought the cooked breakfast was a bit limited and sausage, baked beans or tinned tomatoes could have been offered in addition to the bacon and egg.

A 10 minute drive to Fort William. Plenty of supermarkets a short drive away such as M&S, Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl. A handy pub just down the road provides good pub-grub.

Travee was such a wonderful place to spend the night. Innes was a super friendly and welcoming host and he even gave us a tip about where to see the steam train pass by at nearby Glenfinnan, which was something we hadn't been planning for -- but it turned out to be a great experience! The facilities inside the house were all you could possibly ask for, really felt like a home away from home. The little stuffed animals here and there were a nice touch that brought a smile to my face. Our room had an amazing view of Ben Nevis as well as the rest of the town, and the in-suite bathroom and bed were perfectly fine. Appreciated the tea, coffee and local snacks that were laid out in the room too. (I liked the caramel wafers so much I bought a whole box!) I had the full Scottish breakfast the next morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. Never expected black pudding to be so good. My friend and I were lucky enough to get the window seat in the dining room. Overall there was nothing at all I could possibly complain about. Thank you once again to Innes for such a wonderful stay!

Room 2 is the one with the view of Ben Nevis! The driveway leading up to the house is a short but steep incline. Not a big problem, but just so you know.

Très belle guest house avec vue sur le loch. Les propriétaires sont particulièrement accueillants et chaleureux! Excellent petit déjeuner: soit Scottish complet, soit avec saumon fumé. Les chambres sont grandes, literie moelleuse. L’équipement est qualitatif !! Nous conseillons chaudement cet endroit!

Nous vous conseillons de réserver votre restaurant pour le soir plusieurs jours avant votre arrivée si vous ne voulez pas vous retrouver le bec dans l’eau! Seafood restaurant sur le pier de Fort William très bon mais très prisé aussi.

Un magnifique B & B . Tout était parfait au niveau de la chambre spacieuse, meublée avec goût , un breakfast savoureux ,un plateau de courtoisie réapprovissionné tous les jours et des serviettes changées tous les jours sans en faire la demande et maints petits détails qui ont rendu notre séjour très agréable . Les hôtes sont aux petits soins avec vous, sont très gentils et vous recommandent les restaurants , les lieux à visiter ... A aller absolument si vous passez par Fort Williams !

localisation : 10 min en voiture vers Fort William et 5 min à pied d'une coop. Restaurant à 5 min. A voir : Ben Nevis depuis la chambre et Train Harry Potter à 5min passage en contrebas...

Innes and Jeannie were wonderful hosts. They accommodated us with an early breakfast so we could get tickets for the Jacobite steam train. The breakfast was excellent. Room 3 was very spacious and comfortable with stunning views of Ben Nevis. It is close to the train station and a local bus goes to Fort William two minutes away. It was clean, comfortable and excellent value. Would stay again.

Jacobite steam train from Fort William to Mallaig. The Lochy pub a lovely walk away serves good food.

We arrived very late (around 23h00) for some road problems and Innes was waiting for us and he was really nice. The breakfast was excellent. All was very nice. The room is very beautiful.

Near Travee, we visited the Glennfinant Viaduct and Fort Williams. The viaduct is very very beautiful.

The hosts, Jene and Innes, are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to help with any questions or needed assistance. We really enjoyed staying with them!

Weather in Fort William can be difficult to predict. If you want to climb Ben Nevis, give yourself several days in Fort William so you can hike the hill on the day with the best weather outlook. Also, don't miss the Museum of the Highlands. It was way better than we had imagined it would be.

The accommodation was excellent, with a spectacular view of Ben Nevis from our bedroom window. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We went on the train to Mallaig, experiencing the wonderful scenery along the way. The Corpach Railway Station is just a few minutes walk from the Travee. We walked along the side of the canal to the Lochy where we had a good meal on both evenings of our stay. Other restaurants were a little further away, though easily accessible by car.

Jean and Innes are a lovely welcoming couple. The B&B exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. A good selection was on offer for breakfast! The views from my room and table in the dining-room were fantastic. Will gladly make this my regular B&B for the Fort William area.

We stayed at Travee for 2 nights. Innes & Jean made us very welcome. Our room had a stunning view overlooking the lock & when the cloud cleared we had a superb view of Ben Nevis. This B&B is exceptional! Our room was spotless, spacious with plenty of storage & to a very high standard. Excellent breakfast. Lots of nice additional touches including use of binoculars - Innes & Jean seemed to have thought of everything. They set the bar very high for our 2 week NC 500 trip which, although we stayed at very nice premises, was not surpassed! Thanks so much

Innes recommended several restaurants but unfortunately they were all fully booked so suggest booking in advance of your stay! There is a pub which is within walking distance which is fine for a quick meal. We decided to walk to Steall falls. Made the mistake of parking at Ben Nevis carpark as the Glen Nevis carpark was closed. Don't - it is a very long walk! There are several small car parks nearer to the start of the walk.

Excellent hosts who went out of their way to make us feel at home, giving us advice on things to do and places to eat etc. The accommodation was lovely and had everything we needed, clean and comfortable. If these guys entered Four in a bed they’d easily win if! Would definitely come back.

Superb. Honest and well organised, equipped to extremely high standards, most comfortable rooms, all sorts of little extras, great views and delightful walks and cycle rides in the neighbourhood.

Parking space a bit limited so try to turn round on arrival. Bikes can be hired locally. 20mins walk along the canal side takes you to a pub for an evening meal.
